| Day 32 - New York City |
April 12, 2002 |
I like to get to know cities by walking around them, and NYC provided plenty of exercise.
During my first day there, I walked from my hotel at 103rd and Broadway, made my way down to
Battery Park, and hiked back along a number of other avenues. As one might expect,
there were virutally no slow areas during the entire stroll.
There are far too many sights in New York to mention them all, so I'll let the pictures speak
for themselves. Though, I did finally find the score to Shostakovich's 24 Preludes and Fugues
at the Julliard bookstore,
so for all of you who have been listening to me rant about them, I now have some music to show
for it. :)
